Located in a suburb of Grindelwald, the Waldhotel Bellary Grindelwald is surrounded by green meadows and close to activities such as hiking, skiing and boating. The Waldhotel Bellary Grindelwald is just a few minutes by car or a 10 minute walk from the Jungfraujoch, which is the highest railway station in Europe. The public transportation network can be accessed less than 1 kilometer from the hotel. During the winter, a ski-bus stop is located right below the hotel, which shuttles guests to the trains and ski lifts. The Waldhotel Bellary Grindelwald’s 24 guest rooms are equipped with cable televisions, heating, and private bathrooms with either showers or bathtubs. Built in 1896 by a society of English missionaries, the Waldhotel Bellary Grindelwald was once frequented by members of the European nobility, and was eventually purchased by the Schild-Nakajima family, the 4th generation of which now owns and operates the property. The hotel features a huge terrace, views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers, and a vast garden. There is also a restaurant, as well as a lounge with a TV, a grand piano and various other musical instruments that are available for guest use. The hotel also provides games for children.
