The Rex Hotel Zermatt is quietly located off the main road in Zermatt, an Alpine resort town in the south of Switzerland. The hotel is within walking distance of the town’s shops and restaurants. It is also close to most of the area’s leisure activities. Just a few hours from the international airports in Zurich and Geneva, the Rex Hotel Zermatt is just a 5-minute walk from the main railway station, where guests can take the Gornergrat cog railway or the ski buses. The hotel also provides car rentals and bicycle rentals. All of the Rex Hotel Zermatt’s 40 guestrooms and suites feature cable or satellite television, heating, direct dial telephones, minibars, radios, private bathrooms with showers of bathtubs and hairdryers. Wake-up calls are available upon request. Built in 1960 and remodeled in 1995, the family-run four-star Rex Hotel Zermatt is housed in a traditional Swiss chalet-style building and features a garden, a bar, a solarium, a new health & wellness center with an indoor swimming pool and spa services, room service, laundry service, business services, safety deposit boxes, ski and luggage storage services, currency exchange and porter services.
