Located in the town center, the National is just minutes from many local attractions, shops, cafes, and restaurants. This Zermatt hotel is close to most of Zermatt’s activities and attractions. The National is located directly across from the Sunegga-Paradies Express and a 5-minute walk from the train station. Each of the National’s 50 guestrooms and 4 suites and feature a sitting area, daily newspapers, a television with satellite channels, a radio, a minibar and an in-room safe. Each room also has a balcony facing south. Established in 1903, the 3 star National is designed in the traditional Swiss chalet style of architecture and offers various amenities such as 24-hour reception, a bar and a restaurant, 24-hour front desk assistance, laundry, dry cleaning, room service, shoe shining, ironing service, packed lunches, fax & photocopying services, luggage and ski storage, safety deposit boxes, a garden, a terrace, and elevators.
