Going 2.3 km/1.4 miles farther brings you to the landmark Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrucke) over the Reuss River. Off the Lowenplatz to the north is a small park containing the Lowendenkmal, a famous stone sculpture called the Lion Monument or Lion of Lucerne in English. The Chalet Gardenia is 3.7 km/2.3 miles from the main Lucerne train station.
