Gasthaus Chalet Paxmontana is standing on a hill in a beautiful location in the Canton of Obwalden and has won many awards. The hotel combines the atmosphere of the past with modern comfort. Here you can enjoy the perfect balance between relaxation, activities and enjoyment. The ideal location in the geographic centre of Switzerland makes the hotel a perfect starting point for sightseeing and hiking the medieval Way of St. James. The surrounding area is where St. Nicholas of Flue (1417-1487), the patron saint of Switzerland, lived. All rooms provide shower and WC, safe and fantastic views over the lake or mountains. Breakfast is served from 08:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the restaurant. Lunch a la carte will be served in the restaurant from 11:30 a.m. tol 02:00 p.m. and you can enjoy your dinner in the restaurant from 06:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Many points of interest, famous towns and attractions are nearby and can be reached easily. CHF 2 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Note: The check-in & Check out from the Guest House & Chalet Paxmontana takes place in the Art Nouveau hotel.
