Originally inaugurated in 1922 by the French administration of Indochina, The Sofitel Dalat Palace is a fully renovated Hotel retaining its French colonial style and re-opened in May 1995.Accredited 5-star hotel last February 1998 by the Vietnam National Administration for Tourism. Each of the Palace's 43 appointed rooms is beautifully decorated and offers first-class amenities including IDD telephone, satellite TV, safes and minibars. Most of the rooms have the added romance of fireplaces. The Sofitel Dalat Palace is located at the City centre, facing the famous Xuan Huong Lake. Dalat City is situated 320 Km north-east of Ho Chi Minh City. Dalat is often referred to the “Le Petit Paris” or “City of Eternal Spring”. It is one of the favorite destinations for the honeymooners. The city locates 1,500 meters above sea level with an average temperature of 18 C. The Sofitel Dalat Palace is only 5 minutes from shops, market and Dalat Palace Golf Club. Seven meeting rooms, ranging from 50 to 240 square meter for a wide range of conferencing configuration. The facility can accommodate weddings, banquets, board meetings, conventions, team-building, informal ice-breaking events. A private terrace is adjacent to one of the function rooms. The Golf themed board room is an interesting venue to hold board meetings, private dining experiences or cocktail for golf lovers. L’Atelier du vin is a flexible venue that is perfect for impressive events for wine connoisseurs. Le Rabelais French Classic Dining Room Overlooking the lush gardens of the hotel, the Grand Dinning Room is a gourmet restaurant by night and the venue of a memorable breakfast to start your day, specializing in French cuisine. This is one of the premier restaurants in Vietnam with its very own fireplace and live piano music every evening, The “terrace” is open for breakfast and lunch overlooking the lake. Since October 2006, the Rabelais menus have been created by the award winning French master chef Didier Corlou. The menu features unique creations combined into a collection of dishes reflecting the vegetables and herbs grown in Dalat. The Sofitel Dalat Palace offers these facilities: French Classic Private Room serving the creations from Le Rabelais, this private room is the best place for your private gathering.
