Located in the center of the "Jungfrau" ski region, the Berghaus Bort provides easy access to ski slopes as well as stores and restaurants in the Grindelwald village. The Berghaus Bort is only accessible by gondola and located next to the Grindelwald-First gondola station. During the summer, guests can request permits to drive to the hotel on a narrow mountain road. In the winter, guests can pay to leave their cars on one of the public car parks in the village. Each of the Berghaus Bort’s guestrooms are equipped with 2 - 6 beds and is equipped with a smoke detector, a private bathroom with a shower and a toilet, towels, a hairdryer and a heated towel rack. Units also offer views of the Eiger Mountain. Recently renovated in June 2009, the Berghaus Bort features a sun terrace, a traditional Swiss kitchen, a sunny breakfast room, a complimentary breakfast buffet that is served daily, a restaurant, a bar and lounge, a multilingual staff, elevators, a playground and meeting facilities. Pets are allowed at the hotel for an additional fee.
