Enjoy the natural beauty, warm temperatures and endless beaches of South Africa’s Dolphin Coast at the Zuider Zee Guest House. This three star bed & breakfast is located in Salt Rock, just a half an hour away from the port city of Durban, which is has many tourist attractions to visit. The area is rich in cultural sites from the Zulu Kingdom, excellent shopping areas, and delicious restaurants. Guests can enjoy the extraordinary scenery, with a unique array of birdlife, marine life, such as bottlenose dolphins and whales, and vegetation. The bed & breakfast is the perfect place to relax. Lounge around on the patio, sundeck or gazebo; cool off in the refreshing swimming pool; read a book in the sun lounge, or have a cocktail at the bar. While lounging and sun tanning are more than enough for guests to have an enjoyable South African holiday, there are many other activities to try as well. Guests can visit an animal farm, go on a cycle tour, head out dolphin and whale watching, try deep sea fishing, hike on any of the numerous trails in the area, go horseback riding, kayak or canoe in the warm Indian Ocean waters, or head to a crocodile farm. For the more extreme tourists, try paragliding, quad riding, scuba diving, or surfing. Shopping, dining out, and golfing are other options to amuse yourself on your trip. Internet access is available in the office.
