YHA Wellington City is an affordable hotel located close to the waterfront in central Wellington, New Zealand. This hotel offers a friendly, efficient staff and a spacious, modern interior with several floors and rooms. The hotel offers affordable meal nights, but on those occassions when the cooking is up to you, you'll find a supermarket across the street. Back at the hotel, you can prepare a meal in one of two large, fully-equipped kitchens. Afterwards, relax in one of the lounge areas to watch TV and get to know fellow travelers, or spend time in the Internet lounge catching up on email. When you want to get out and explore the area, you can rent a bike from the hotel. Nearby, you can go shopping, browse through New Zealand’s national museum, Te Papa; take a Lord of the Rings tour; or visit the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary just outside of town. You can also take in a show at the local cinema or theater and when you get hungry, stop in for a snack at one of the city’s many cafes.
