Built on the slope 650m above sea level, the views of the Pagasetic gulf below are unparalleled. The main bar and restaurant is also in tune with the rest of the hotel, very luxuriously equipped and serving a variety of local and gourmet dishes cooked by the resident chef. The hotel is a stone and wood construction, architecturally correct and in tune with the preserved traditional style of construction in Portaria. There's a large, inviting swimming pool with a spacious sundeck for those sunny days. The hotel also boasts a small chapel. The lobby lounge is medium sized, with heavy carpets, deep armchairs and a warm, glowing fireplace dominating the space. The hotel organizes weddings in their chapel, as Pelion has become a top wedding destination in recent years.
