Worgret Manor is a Georgian Manor house situated just outside the town of Wareham at the gateway to the Purbeck Isles, surrounded by a working farm. The Dorset coast is a World Heritage site and other attractions include Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Monkey World, Swanage with its Steam Railway and the surrounding National Trust properties. The hotel is ideally situated as a centre from which to explore the area. Beaches, walking, bird watching, golf and other sporting activities are close at hand. The hotel lies on historic ground between the ancient Wessex towns of Wareham and Wool. The Worgret Manor House is over 250 years old and the land on which it stands is mentioned in the Magna Carta.
