Wine plays a vital role, and is reflected in the fine cuisine as well as in the spa of the LOISIUM Hotel. All 82 rooms and suites were designed by the American star architect Steven Holl with his characteristic abstract individuality. Timeless sensuality with a touch of eccentric attitude and fascinating detailed sense of style, define a new architectural elegance. Forms, colours, material, and furniture - nothing was left to cliche. From the gel door knob right out of the workshop of a Milanese gel manufacturer to the especially designed "Holl" wardrobe, to the bed and armchair constructed by the well-known Wittmann furniture workshops according to designs by Steven Holl. All rooms have large, open baths, partially with views of the vineyard, full air conditioning, flat screen TV with satellite programs, free high speed Internet connections, telephone, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer. The exterior of the hotel is avant-garde. Designed by Steven Holl, it rises futuristically yet unobtrusively against the backdrop of the surrounding idyllic vineyards. Holl has designed both the vanguard exterior facade and the entire interior design. The result is a building which combines earthy colours, especially-designed furniture in extraordinary styles, unusual materials and views of the adjacent vineyards from almost all the rooms. The interior of the building also reflects the interplay between nature and modernity. Pure enjoyment - this is what all aspects of the LOISIUM Hotel are about. The hotel is positioned in the upscale 4-star category. The new and elegant wine & spa cuisine pampers the palate. The range of health treatments, too, has been developed specifically for the hotel. Aveda, a globally successful specialist in beauty and natural cosmetics with Austrian roots, has created distinctive spa treatments and wine therapies for LOISIUM guests.
