White Waters Hotel is situated at the very heart of Machico. The immediate vicinity includes various restaurants, bars, pubs and nightspots. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the city of Funchal and 5 minutes from Madeira Airport. The hotel is a 20-room, family-run establishment. This modern, contemporary building, set against a traditional backdrop, features such facilities as an esplanade and the la carte restaurant 'Aguas Brancas', as well as a tea garden, business centre, children's corner and a hotel laundry service (fees apply). Further facilities include a hotel lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a safe and a newspaper stand, as well as air conditioning throughout. A caf, bar and pub also feature and WLAN Internet access is available for a fee. Guests may choose to work on their tans on the hotel's sun terrace. For a fee, they can also enjoy massage treatments. Guests can enjoy a game of tennis or table tennis or may try their hand at horse riding (for a fee). Alternatively they may participate in aerobics classes (fees apply). Fans of the fairway can make their way to the Santo da Serra golf course, which is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. All rooms have balconies with limited sea views. The rooms are equipped with modern amenities, such as cable TV, Internet access, air-conditioning and central heating. A direct dial telephone, in-room safe, radio and minibar are also provided. Furthermore, rooms include a private bathroom with a bathtub and hairdryer. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast. Midday and evening meals can be enjoyed la carte.
