Not to be confused with the Melia White House in London's West End, the White House Hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Paddington Station, offering budget accommodation for the price-conscious traveller. Enjoy a short stroll to the sprawling Hyde Park, where you can admire the Serpentine Bridge, the fountains at the Italian Gardens and other historic monuments. Nearby too you'll find fast food outlets and shops, making this a really ideal base for exploring the English capital. As would be expected of a bed & breakfast establishment, the rooms at the White House Hotel, all rather small, are basically furnished with TV, telephone and coffee maker. They come with en-suite bathrooms with shower only. Since it occupies a traditional townhouse, the hotel does not have elevators. Breakfast and other services are provided by the Seymour Hotel nearby.
