Watagan Lodge nestled at the base of the Watagan Mountains near the entrance to the Watagans National Park; is a unique retreat just 10 minutes from the Western shores of Lake Macquarie. Watagan Lodge offers nine self catering units, 14 loft apartments and a six bedroom house to accommodate everyone from large groups to couples enjoying a romantic escape. Each unit is tastefully furnished with custom-made rosewood pieces in an Edwardian style and opens to a delightful garden shaded by a row of mature coral trees and housing barbecues, a spa, and pool and sauna deck as well as to the licensed restaurant. The kids will be entertained in the recreation room complete with pool, snooker, billiards, table hockey, table soccer and table tennis. You"ll enjoy peace and tranquility disturbed only by the occasional Bellbird.
