The Wairepo House is located a short distance from the city center and right along the beaches and national parks. The Wairepo House can be found at Weka Road, Mariri, Rd 2 Upper Moutere. This is about a 40 minute drive from the city center of Nelson. There are five suites at the Wairepo House, and each one is uniquely decorated. All rooms have nice timbers, high quality fabrics, antique furnishings and local artwork displayed. All rooms can connect to the Internet using JetStream service. The Wairepo House is a five-star, award-winning luxury hotel. The homestead is Colonial in nature and is placed upon a fourth-generation garden. This hotel features country style timbers, stained glass, chapel ceilings and sunlit decks. Amenities at the hotel include a free serving of gourmet breakfast and local wine. The premises measures two acres and contains facilities for pool, tennis and chess. There is also a swimming pool and a pizza oven right by it.
