The Villa am Schloßpark Garni is an intimate hotel with 14 guest accommodations, in a large house surrounded by landscaped gardens. The hotel is located in western Munich, in the quiet residential borough called Pasing-Obermenzing. Just to the east of the Villa am Schloßpark Garni, the 200-hectare/490-acre park of Nymphenburg Palace is decorated with pavilions, faux ruins, a Neoclassical temple, and a rococo hunting lodge. At the eastern end is the palace itself, Schloss Nymphenburg or the Nymph’s Castle. The Baroque palace was the main summer residence of the rulers of Bavaria, and today it’s one of the most-visited castles in Germany. North of the palace is the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Obermenzing station, where you can catch trains in the Munich S-Bahn rapid transit system and arrive at the Munich city centre in approx. 12 minutes.
