After King Carol the 1st of Romania made his residence in Sinaia by building one of the greatest castles in the world (Peles Castle), all the good people of his court and rich people of Romania started to build holiday houses around the castle. Vila Sinaia 1929*** is one of them. It was build in 1929 by a very wealthy and educated businessman and his wife as a holiday house for themselves and their friends. In 1947, the communist regime confiscated all their properties. Their grandsons, after 1989 Romanian Revolution, after several years of justice with Romanian State, succeeded to get back this property.
