The Retezat Villa is a wonderful Sinaia hotel set in a quaint mountain resort town perfect for hikers, skiers, and travelers interested in exploring the history of central Romania. Guests can enjoy world-class skiing in the Transylvanian Alps during the winter months. In summer, adventurous guests can make their way to the top of the Franz Joseph and Saint Anne Cliffs for sweeping views of the river valley. Alternatively, guests can visit the historic, 19th century Peles Castle or the active Sinaia Monastery founded in the late 17th century. The Museum of the Monastery is also close by and serves as the first religious museum in Romania. Within the Retezat Villa, guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as a lounge, seating area, or outdoor terrace.
