The Victoria Hotel is situated in the centre of Blairgowrie the renowned heart of the raspberry growing area. An excellent centre for touring some of the most beautiful countryside in Scotland and an excellent base for golfing walking fishing and skiing. The cosy bedrooms at the Victoria feature a TV radio and hairdryer and all have an en suite bathroom. Rooms also offer tea and coffee facilities and some have scenic views of the Wellmeadow. The lively Music Tavern Bar serves a range of beverages and Scottish whiskies and offers a nightly programme of live music and entertainment. The restaurant serves a varied menu of full evening meals and light snacks. Surrounded by Perthshire’s beautiful countryside there are popular walking routes and fishing rivers just minutes away. Loch Drumellie is a 5-minute drive and bustling Dundee can be reached in just 30 minutes’ drive. Nearby Strathmore Golf Centre and Alyth Golf Club are 10 minutes’ drive away. In Perthshire golf is part of everyday life with almost every town or village seeming to support its own golf course or two. The sheer variety of the 18 hole golf courses listed here is an example of the outstanding highland layouts idyllic parkland setting world famous centres and undiscovered gems. Although some of Perthshire’s courses are as testing as any in the world the main challenge is to keep your eye on the ball amid such splendid surrounding of which visitors are always pleasantly surprised.
