The Verdo Hotel is situated just 2 minutes away from the promenade and the world famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach Theme Park which features over 100 rides and attractions, new for 2011 is Nickleodeon, a themed area featuring 14 new rides aimed at childrenAll of our bedrooms feature full en suite facilities, Freeview digital television, beverage making equipment and bedside lighting; towels are provided. Irons and hair driers are available on request. A full choice English breakfast (or vegetarian) is included. We also have a licensed bar for you to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Local attractions nearby to the Verdo Hotel include Blackpool Pleasure Beach and of course The Tower at 518 feet tall with its famous ballroom, 100 year old circus pit and a brand new Jungle Jims interactive childrens play area. The Sandcastle Waterworld complex is also nearby and offers two white-knuckle water slides, the Master Blaster and The Sidewinder vertical drop slide along with many other water slides and attractions. There are a number of bars (including several Family bars) and restaurants, as well as two casinos within easy walking distance of the hotel.
