The University Guest House is located on a strategic and scenic hill site within the University Campus which many consider an excellent garden. It offers an excellent view of the Penang Bridge from the grounds while being within easy reach of the major business and manufacturing centres. All rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned with en-suite bathroom. Standard fittings include coffee and tea making facilities, television with ASTRO and refrigerator (except for Standard Superior Room). Bottled water, coffee sachets and teabags, shampoo, soap and a daily newspaper are replenished daily during occupancy. Wireless internet access is available in the lounge area and at certain other locations. Please ask at the reception. The service is free for guests while a charge of RM10.00 is payable by non-guests. The cafe, next to Guest House, serves a variety of HALAL Western, Oriental, Local Dishes and refreshing drinks. Round the clock security patrols are conducted by the University's security service. Access to USM sports and recreational facilities e.g. swimming pool, football and hockey field, squash, tennis and badminton courts, gymnasium and stadium are available subject to USM's rules and regulations.
