Stay at the TyGlyn guest house when you visit Ceredigion, in South West Wales. Located in the quiet village of Ciliau Aeron, it is one of the best country accommodations near Lampeter. The hotel, now officially known as the TyGlyn Restaurant & Conference Centre, is highly recommended for the excellent cuisine served in the Gallery Restaurant. The chef creates adventurous dishes based on locally sourced produce; vegetarian meals and those following specific dietary requirements can be prepared. Guests can enjoy a summer meal on the terrace overlooking the landscaped gardens or relax with a drink in front of the inglenook fireplace. The TyGlyn Restaurant & Conference Centre is located in an unspoilt area of Ceredigion, between the university town of Lampeter (home of the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David) and the seaside resort town of Aberaeron. Both Lampeter and Aberaeron are on the Dylan Thomas Trail, a marked trail connecting locations associated with the Welsh poet and writer. One of the more popular Ceredigion attractions to the north is Ceredigion Museum, Aberystwyth, housed in a restored Edwardian theatre. To the south, the coastline between New Quay and Aberporth has some of the whitest sand beaches and cleanest, clearest waters in the United Kingdom. From the TyGlyn Restaurant & Conference Centre it is approx. a 1 hour drive to the town of Newport in the Preseli Hills section of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
