From this Launceston hotel, guests will find the city’s central business district located approximately seven minutes away by foot. The area around the Two Four Two and the center of the city constitute the commercial nexus of northern Tasmania. There are also famous city parks in Launceston, including one that is the home to several Japanese monkeys. Launceston has public transportation but private transportation is more frequently used. Guests of the Two Four Two may fly to the Launceston International Airport, which is located approximately 9 miles from the center of the city. The three apartments available for hire at the Two Four Two consist of the Studio, the Bakehouse and the Terrace. The furnishings in these apartments are the creation of a famous local designer. Each of the rooms is decorated with art and photographs of Tasmania. There is a bar in each of the apartments provided with local wine selections. This establishment consists of three separate apartments. Design is given great consideration in all the spaces at the Two Four Two.
