Situated on the banks of the legendary Tongariro River, on 22 acres of park like grounds at the Southern end of Lake Taupo, this luxurious lodge offers old fashioned comfort and style with friendly personal service. Being at the foot of the World Heritage Tongariro National Park the Lodges activities also include, New Zealand's most popular guided one day walk the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, guided heli-hiking and scenic walks, guided white water rafting, mountain biking, heli-sightseeing, snow skiing, international golf courses, horse trekking, 4 x 4 biking, massage and thermal pools.
