Set within a historical building, known as Il Domenichino, the Tirreno was carefully refurbished in 2006, and offers a fusion of classic style with modern comforts. Situated close to Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, the Tirreno is the ideal base for exploring this world-famous cultural city. By this very cheap transportations the Tirreno Hotel is linked in 10 minutes to all the Roman Basilicas, the Catacombs, the Vatican Museums (The Sistine Chapel), the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and Via Condotti (Rome's most famous shopping area).
