This nice budget Paris hotel has no on-site restaurant, but all around Tour Montparnasse are lots of nice restaurants, bars and notorious cafes, together with cinemas, cabarets and shopping malls. A highly popular attraction close to the hotel is the Montparnasse Cemetery. This rather unusual tourist site, famous for its monumental sculptures, is eternal home to many of France's writers and artists, such as Charles Baudelaire, Guy de Maupassant or Serge Gainsbourg. Last but not least, Hotel Tipi is also well served by public transportation, being at mid-distance between metro stations Raspail and Gaite, and RER stop Denfert-Rochereau. The center of Paris is thus accessible within a few minutes with the RER B, and airports Paris Orly and Roissy can be reached within an hour.
