Tidesl Reach is located close the picturesque and peaceful tidal River Lerryn a tributary of the River Fowey where a set of stepping-stones will help you cross on foot to the pub village store and post office at low tide. The cottage comprises of 2 bedrooms one double and one twin It enjoys a open plan kitchen dining and living room. Lerryn (archaically Lerrin) is a village in the Caradon district of Cornwall. It lies on either side of the Lerryn River a tributary of the River Fowey. The northern side of the river is in St Winnow parish and the southern side is in St Veep parish. The river is tidal up to the village and a set of stepping-stones across the river is only crossable at low tide. The river has been bridged here for over 700 years and the current tiny arched stone bridge has survived since 1573 Queen Elizabeth I ordered the bridge built in order to have Gold transported from a smelt on the south bank of the river. The very best thing you can do from the cottage is enjoy the absolutely charming walks straight out of the front door exploring the local countryside.
