Thylitshia Villa Country Guesthouse is a working ostrich and wine farm, housed in a tastefully decorated Cape Dutch building, which combines classic style with modern touches and offers exceptional hospitality. Enjoy a leisurely home-cooked breakfast either on the patio or in the colonial-style dining room. In addition to the comfortable interiors and exteriors of the guest accommodation, you are treated to a private tour of the farm where you can witness the various stages of the birds' development. Alternatively, you can have a dip at the swimming pool or immerse yourself into the quiet beauty of the landscaped gardens. Thylitshia Villa is a wonderful retreat in the heart of the Little Karoo, just outside Oudtshoorn. Attractions in the area include the Cango Caves and a Safari Show farm. Take R328 to Mosselbay, follow this road for about 10kms, go over a white bridge and up a small hill, on top of the hill is a signboard that says Highgate Ostrich Show Farm / Thylitshia Villa Country Guesthouse to the right, turn right and proceed 6kms, guesthouse will be on the left side of the road. From George take N12. Once in the city, turn left to R328 and then turn right. Pass Highgate Ostrich Farm Show and, after 4 km, you will reach the hotel.
