Voted Best Bed and Breakfast in East Texas, nestled among 400 year old oak trees, the beautiful landscaped gardens are an enjoyable place to sit or walk while basking the sanctuary of yesteryear. The 12 rooms contain antiques of both a practical and comfortable nature as well as an appropriate representation of the historical significance of the estate. Each room has a private bathroom, and is as diverse as the small town of Winnsboro itself. Winnsboro is 90 miles east of Dallas, 45 miles north of Tyler. There are several excellent eating places downtown, an Art District, day spa, and live music every weekend. The conveniences of wireless internet and a beautiful and private swimming pool add to the classy, but warm, ambiance which defines Thee Hubbell House Resort. Check-in is at 2 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
