The White Bear is centrally located in the picturesque market square of Shipston on Stour, on the edge of the glorious Cotswold's. This once coaching inn is now a traditional and lively pub. We offer a modern English menu using locally sourced ingredients cooked by our Head Chef and his team. Manager Joe Murphy and the team condition a fantastic selection of cask ales and traditional cider's, all served while at their best, whilst our wines are selected and supplied by the award winning vintners, Sheldon's of Shipston. The rooms are all en-suite with shower or bath simple but comfortable. A great place to come and stay if on business or just visiting the midlands for a relaxing break, with its close proximity to Stratford, Warwick and Oxford and within easy reach of the midlands motorway links to cities such as Birmingham and Coventry. There is a wonderful relaxed Atmosphere at the Bear and the staff pride themselves on making sure that your stay is made as enjoyable as possible. There is a wide choice of food and menus served all day either in the restaurant, at the bar or al fresco. We can also cater for either business or pleasure meetings in the function room, from one on one meetings or weddings and birthdays.
