The Wayside Inn is an historic Bed and Breakfast nearby historic Ellicott City, the site of the first railway station in the United States. The Inn is within minutes of art galleries, museums, antique shops and award winning restaurants. It is a short hop to downtown Baltimore or to catch the Metro into exciting Washington, D.C., with all those cities have to offer. Yet the Wayside Inn is safely located in the tranquil hills of Ellicott City on two acres of landscaped property, with a beautiful pond amid mature trees one White Oak certified to have been standing at the signing of the U.S Constitution and stunning gardens. In the past few months the owners have completely renovated the second floor adding private baths with Jacuzzi style tubs to some rooms and adding a brand new Luxury suite. Your Comfort is our Passion. Check-in is at 4 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
