The Victoria Hotel is a stunning AA 3 Star property that overlooks the village green in the heart of historic Bamburgh. The village is dominated by a magnificent Castle which has featured in many historical films. Both Holy Island and The Farne Islands are visible from its ramparts. The hotel itself is only a short walk to Bamburgh Beach. At the Victoria Hotel, we have a number of room types to suit all budgets. Our great value standard Double and Twin rooms are a great option for those looking to explore Bamburgh and Northumberland. Our popular Superior rooms are ideal for a relaxing weekend break with plenty of space to unwind, whilst our Castle View rooms offer breath-taking views of Bamburgh Castle and the surrounding areas. In 2012 they have been huge changes a foot, as we have launched our new restaurant which serves contemporary cuisine using the finest local produce that Northumberland has to offer. Enjoying friendly however professional service for all our guests to enjoy this was re-launched at the beginning of March and called Bailey's Bar and Restaurant after the venue's executive head chef, Harry Bailie. This is the second restaurant to be launched by Chris Bowron newly appointed General Manager and Harry Bailie after the huge success of the award winning Bailey's Bar and Restaurant launched in Durham 2 years ago. 'UPDATE' April 2012 we have been awarded a AA Rosette by the AA.
