Rich in history, with a church dating back to the 11th century, Newton Solney is just 2 miles from Repton, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mercia and home to the world famous Repton School. Burton Upon Trent, the UK capital of brewing, is just 3 miles in the opposite direction. The Unicorn is perfectly suited to its surroundings. A contemporary styled bar which boasts luxury furniture, open fires and country character. The Unicorn has always and continues to be the ever friendly local pub with that little bit extra.
