Thorpeness Hotel located close the Thorpeness Meare and a short walk from the beach, has 36 en-suite bedrooms, many recently refurbished. Two bars offer food and beverages throughout the day, including light snacks or full meals.For finer dining try our restaurant where the dinner menu reflects the abundance of local fresh fish, game and produce. In Summer dine al fresco,or sip drinks the terrace or in the gardens overlook the Meare. For quieter momments the drawing room or library are cosy and relaxing. Self catering apartments and houses are also available all year round. Take dinner in the restaurant overlooking the third tee or for lighter meals try the bar and terrace menu. Head Chef and Master Chef of Great Britain, David Ryan cooks with passion and flair, reflected in the menus. Guests who wish to play golf enjoy a 20% discount on green fees. Tee times may be pre booked and a handicap certificate is mandatory.
