At the Spread Eagle, Scotland's oldest continually licensed hotel, we'reproud to serve you. With parts of the building dating from the time of Mary Queen of Scots,we offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, a cosy lounge with wood-burningstove, and a sun-trap beer garden to the rear of the building. We welcome families, and have two cots as well as a children's menu. Children under 5 stay free. Golf is available on 23 local courses as part of the Freedom of theFairways scheme, and there is also excellent walking, cycling, fishing,horse-riding and other country pursuits in the wonderful scenery of theBorders. Whether you join us for dinner or spend the night in one of our newlyrenovated rooms complete with ensuite, flat-screen TV and complimentaryWi-Fi, you're always welcome. The hotel is completely non-smoking.
