As a freehouse, we have the freedom to select and present the greatest ales from local breweries, of which there are many. Chic fine dining or fun buffet, we would love to organise it for you. The Somerset Arms has been a coaching inn for hundreds of years. Records suggest that as far back as the 16th century ales were served to travellers and highwayman who traversed what became the busy A350. It is named after the Duke of Somerset who was a great landowner in the area. In 2004 the village of Semington was bypassed, and for perhaps the first time in its history the road was still. This obviously had a dramatic effect on the role of The Somerset Arms, now not attracting the traveler, things had to change. In the summer of 2009, following a period of closure The Somerset Arms opened its doors again ready to offer a new service to its local customers. Hotel Rating: Self Assessed 3 star
