The Royal Oak's relaxed atmosphere friendly hassle-free service combine with newly-refurbished bedrooms & a pretty location at the edge of an historic Dorset village to give you a perfect place to stay in the midst of timeless Hardy country. All of the beautifully appointed rooms are named after towns from Thomas Hardy Novels and are en-suite. Ideally situated in the heart of Dorsets most popular tourist attractions. Surrounded by beautiful countryside ideal for walkers and cyclists. The Royal Oak is central to some of the South’s most beautiful scenery and popular attractions. Monkey World The Bovington Tank Museum Corfe Castle and the famous Lulworth Cove on the spectacular Dorset coast are all just minutes away. For the more adventurous the A35 connects Bere Regis to the extensive shopping and entertainment facilities of Bournemouth and Poole in just half an hour. Please note that due to the nature of our business we do not serve an early breakfast. We currently serve between 8.30-9.30am.
