The Ross hotel is an exciting addition to Killarney, a town perfectly situated in the famously scenic south west of Ireland. Located right in the heart of Killarney, it is a sister property to The Killarney Park hotel. Set in the Kingdom of Kerry, the magnificent Killarney National Park is just across the road. Restaurants, bars, nightlife, the bus and train stations can all be found in the vicinity. Muckross House, Muckross Abbey and Ross Castle and Ross Island are all easily accessible. The Gap of Dunloe is about 12 km away. Kerry Airport is 24 km away. This is a stunning boutique hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and modern style. It was renovated in 2008, and has 29 rooms in total spread across 4 floors. A seamless fusion of luxury and cool, it provides the services and amenities of a luxury hotel within a stylish and chic environment. It oozes designer charm throughout, from the gorgeous bedrooms to the amazing Pink Lounge. It includes facilities such as a restaurant, bar and 24-hour reception. Air conditioning, hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access and WLAN access are also provided. Room and laundry services, and a cycle hire service are available for a fee. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car Deluxe rooms are bright and airy with superb views over the adjoining church garden, the National Park across the road and the town of Killarney itself. The rooms have deep pile robes and slippers, two direct dial telephones, and spacious en suite bathrooms with Italian toiletries by Laura Tonatto. A hairdryer, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a fridge, ironing set, king-size beds, individually regulated air conditioning, heating, a safe, and a balcony or terrace also feature. Stylish furnishings and colours are used throughout the rooms. Guests have access to facilities at the sister property, including a 20 metre swimming pool, caldarium, relaxation room, hydrotherapy suite, outdoor Canadian hot tub, a hot tub and bubble pool, a sauna and plunge pool, a solarium, tennis courts and a spa. Spa treatments incur an extra charge. The Lane Caf bar offers Irish breakfast tea. A full bar menu is available each day, offering hearty options such as traditional roast dishes, as well as lighter options like salads and evening tapas. In Cellar One restaurant, inspired by fresh local produce, the menu is simple and familiar. la carte or table d hte dinner menu choices are available from a wonderful range of quality Irish dishes. The hotel restaurant is very attractive with dark wooden furniture and attractively displayed tables. The room has the atmosphere of a kitchen style restaurant. A variety of Asian and traditional dishes are available.
