The Rectory Hotel near Malmesbury is a beautiful, elegantly furnished period house set in three acres of Cotswold stone walled garden. Recently renovated, it is an ideal base from which to explore the Cotswolds, Tetbury, Bath and the ancient town of Malmesbury. The 12 bedrooms at The Rectory are all individually designed and feature hand sprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linens, deep baths and power showers, bathrobes and handmade bathroom products from Arran Aromatics from Scotland. All rooms have views over the Victorian gardens. We have a beautiful well established Victorian walled garden with sets of croquet and boules at reception for guests to use. There is also a table tennis table beside the outdoor heated swimming pool. The wood panelled restaurant overlooks the garden and sunken Victorian baptism pool. In the summer months, meals can be served inside in the dining room or outside in the beautiful Victorian formal gardens.
