The hotel is built right on the shores of Lake Ashi, near Mount Kamiyama and Mount Komagatake, in the centre of lush natural surroundings. The grandeur view of Mount Fuji and the nearby forests can be enjoyed. The many historic sites in the area will take you back in time to the Edo Period. It takes about 45 minutes by car from JR Odawara Station by Bullet Train or 30 minutes by car from Hakone-Yumoto Station on the Odakyu Line. There are also several direct buses from Shinjuku, Tokyo to Hakone-en, where is there an amusement park next of this hotel. There are several buses within the Hakone area. This famous resort hotel provides various facilities, such as outdoor hot spring baths, spa treatment rooms, tennis courts and trekking along the shore of Lake Ashi. Hakone-en, one of the key points for sight seeing in Hakone is within same property, as well as an aquarium, a golf course, and a rope-way for mountain, trekking, shopping mall, restaurants and a bus terminal.
