The Old Manse is a delightful English Country Hotel, Restaurant and Public House overlooking the River Windrush, which flows gently through the centre of this picture post card Cotswold village. The Old Manse was originally built for the local Baptist pastor in 1748 and encompasses plenty of traditional Cotswold charm, making it the ideal retreat at any time of year. The restaurant, bar, heated garden terrace and riverside patio all offer a seasonal menu, with a wide selection of modern and traditional British favourites, from hearty main courses to lighter snacks, complimented by a selection of real ale, carefully selected wines and speciality teas and coffees. The Hotel has 15 comfortable en-suite bedrooms of individual character ranging from a Romantic Four Poster room to character filled beamed rooms in the adjoining annexe. However you choose to spend your break at The Old Manse: exploring this historic area of outstanding natural beauty, strolling around the quaint little village of Bourton with its interesting selection of shops and attractions, or curled up in front of a roaring log fire with a news paper.
