Walk in the foot steps of many American legends - Benjamin Franklin, Ulyssess S. Grant, James Fenimore Cooper, and Captain James Lawrence to name a few. Learn about Elias Boudinot, J. Howard Pugh, and the Underground Railroad. View Burlington Island. Settled in 1626 by the Walloons it is the site of the first recorded European settlement in New Jersey. Walk the streets of this wonderful, charming historic town, and return to the Inn for an evening of comfort and relaxation. Check-in is at 3 00 PM. Guests planning to arrive before or after this time must contact the property at least 48 hours prior to arrival to receive special check-in instructions.
