The Franschhoek valley is an idyllic setting for walking trails, hiking, cycling, bird watching, horseback riding, and fly-fishing. Franschhoek is famous for its restaurants, world-class wines, and wine estates, many of which offer wine tasting and cellar tours. For golf enthusiasts, golf in the Cape Winelands is an unforgettable experience with the magnificent backdrop of the mountains surrounding the Franschhoek valley. A buffet breakfast is served on the covered veranda that overlooks the pool. Various award-winning restaurants are situated within a 5-minute walk from Franschhoek Last Word.
