The Lakehouse is situated at approximately 1,000 m above sea level in the Cameron Highlands, about 200 km north of Malaysia's capital - Kuala Lumpur. It is a short distance from the towns of Tanah Rata and Ringlet and is within close proximity to many key attractions. The Restaurant at The Lakehouse is where guests are pampered with a fine selection of the best traditional English cuisine, as they wine and dine in a romantic candle-lit ambience. Open only during breakfast and dinner times, The Restaurant also boasts a selection of the finest wine available at the highlands. The Cameron Bar is ideal for an aperitif. With an extensive range of Scotch Whiskeys and other beverages, the Cameron Bar is also the 'resident pub' where sports fans can watch the Sports Channel while sipping their favourite drink. The Highlander Lounge is just the place to snuggle up in the chilly evenings, perfect for the after-dinner drink by the log fireplace in the cool late evenings. The Lakeview Terrace offers the perfect al fresco setting where guests can enjoy that quiet afternoon tea with fresh strawberries and freshly baked scones while basking in the afternoon sun overlooking the lake and the natural landscaping. Reminiscent of a black and white Tudor mansion, the architecture blends pefectly with the surrounding rural landscape. The flowers surrounding the hotel complete a very picturesque scene. The small lobby continues the distinctive olde world charm and provides a warm welcome.
