The inn was once a famous home to the pacific coast Borax company and 20-mule teams made famous by the 1950s television program Death Valley days. Ideal for a getaway, the inn offers a wide variety of activities. (03/08 SAL)The hotel offers it's guests luxury and timeless elegance to modern to rustic guest rooms and suites buttressed up against the mountainside. All rooms are non-smoking. The Inn is located at highway 190, in the Death Valley national park, approximately 192 km from northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada, and 300 miles northeast of Los Angeles, California. Nestled against the Funeral Mountains and overlooking the desert salt pans. There is a dining room which serves a la carte Breakfast, lunch and dinner served in a spacious fine dinning setting; continental flare with an emphasis on regional ingredients and flavorful food pairings. The inn also has a lobby bar and pool bar where cocktails, specialty drinks, beer & wine, and light lunch are served poolside. Mission style adobe architecture. Small.
