Nestled amongst the galleries and art shops housed in period buildings in Piazza de Popolo is the 5-star superior First hotel. Just across from the hotel is the Galleria Incontro D'Artle and guests won't have to step far to visit the numerous galleries that populate the area. The hotel which was styled from scratch using marble and wood is housed in a building that was completely renovated in 2011. Truly living and breathing art, the hotel at first resembling a gallery with its shop front style glass window. Inside, 150 works of art from 40 international artists are displayed in communal areas and private rooms. Creativity and inspiration is embedded into the design and soul of the hotel and this is reflected in the fine quality building materials, finely crafted furniture and lighting design. Guests can go for a swim or indulge in a treatment or two in the hotels-ns spa which offers an indoor swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, massage and tailored treatments and a fitness centre on the outdoor rooftop terrace. Overhalla, the hotel's restaurant serves a range of creative cuisine from Italy and across Europe. The restaurant operates from the ground floor and the roof terrace, where guests can enjoy the view, soak up the continental atmosphere and have a drink from the bar. A wine cellar offers a wide selection of fine wines and French champagne labels. Junior suites measure approximately 200sqr ft and have been painstakingly designed to represent the very best in contemporary European design. Permanent and temporary paintings and sculptures decorate each room ensuring that every guest has a unique experience. Rooms include a large bed and sofa seating area. Bathrooms include a marble bathtub, multi-jet shower and separate toilet. Tan walls create a cosy environment in which guests can relax and admire the fine designs of the furniture from the wall mounted fitted bookcases and smooth ergonomically designed chairs to the carefully crafted lamps. Amenities provided in the suite include a 42inch LED satellite TV with satellite channels, iPod docking station, free wireless internet access, mini bar and a safe. As an added bonus rooms are soundproofed to ensure a peaceful guest experience. Bespoke personnel shoppers, art gallery consultants and kosher cooking services are available. Nearby parking services are available on request. All rooms are non smoking.
