Within a short walk from Sandown station lies an old Victorian house situated close to the town centre and sandy beaches that identify this picturesque area of the Isle of Wight. Once a family home dating back to c1878 The Fernside is now a family run establishment with ten rooms (all ensuite) a lounge and bar area breakfast room and guest car park. We offer a small selection of bar snacks (every evening except Sunday) for those occasions when you really would rather not go out. There is a great selection of excellent restaurants within a short walk. Most tastes are catered for. Many visitor attractions are within easy reach from Sandown so The Fernside offers the perfect location for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday or short break. Free wi-fi is available throughout the building.
