Nestled in the curve of the beautiful Dunnet Bay, Castletown is a picturesque fishing village conveniently located to explore all that Caithness offers the visitor. The St Clair Arms Hotel in Castletown is a locally run establishment full of charm where good traditional hospitality is offered to all travellers. Under new local family ownership the Castletown Hotel boasts quality single, double, twin and family accomodation with a choice of bath or shower and includes free view TV and teacoffee making facilities. Complimentary Wifi Internet access is available plus complimentary car parking facilities. Guests and non residents can experience local produce prepared to a high standard in either our lounge bar or our dining room. Castletown is perfectly positioned centrally for the Castle of Mey, visiting Thurso and Wick and also stopping the night before heading to either of the three Orkney Ferry Terminals. Caithness has an array of attractions to amuse the visitor and Castletown is well located to take advantage of them, whether it is sea angling, loch fishing, walking, surfing, cycling, or wildlife. The St Clair Arms is an attractive 18th Century building which accommodates the visitor in great comfort with warm welcoming service and great food to accompany our fine selection of Malts, wines and Liquers. Our menu boasts local produce prepared to a great standard and served with pride in both our lounge bar and our dining room. Laundry facilities are also available.
