The The Bear Hotel Cowbridge is situated on the outskirts of Cardiff, on the High Street of the quaint market town of Cowbridge. Cowbridge has it all with a rural edge but city chic and something to suit all ages and budgets. Guests will find a number of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs there. Meanwhile, the city centre of Cardiff, Wales' beautiful capital city, is just 15 minutes away, as is the new Cardiff Bay development. Guests will find a number of attractions within around 30 minutes of the establishment, including Mermaid Quay, Castell Coch, McArthur Glen Designer Outlet and Barry Island. The local bus and train stations are within 15 minutes' walk of the hotel. Cardiff International Airport is around 10 miles away. This family-friendly hotel dates back to the 12th century and exudes history, charm and character. Guests are assured of a warm welcome and the highest standard of service throughout their stay. The extensive facilities include 33 en suite bedrooms, a flagstone Real Ale Bar, a luxurious lounge bar and a unique stone-vaulted restaurant.
